Love to Learn: Writing from the trenches

Diary entry of a soldier living in the trenches...

To mark 100 Years since the end of WW1, RAPS is setting a writing competition for all children to complete over the Half Term. The task is to write a diary entry from the perspective of a soldier in the trenches during WW1. A prize will be available for both KS1 and KS2 for the most creative pieces. This week, the children will receive a  writing template on which to write their pieces over the holiday. This template can also be found below in case of any mishap/misplacing. This will be their new Love to Learn. Their Love to Learn is due back Friday 3rd November ready to be judged and put on display for the 11th November.
