Clockwork: Dr Kalmenius and playscripts

With a prominent nose and jaw.... and a harsh, grating voice...

Yesterday, Team Amin explored a scene from our core text in which Prince Otto desperately wants an heir and angrily rides to Dr Kalmenius to demand he make a child of clockwork who will not die. As we are using this scene to inspire our upcoming play scripts, we adopted the roles of our characters and worked collaboratively and creatively with our groups to produce our own role plays. What fantastic productions! I must say that the understanding that we are now showing for each of our characters and their role in the story is fantastic. Over the next few days, we will be exploring skills for writing a playscript and will then be writing our own! Next week, we will then group together and perform from several of our very own creations. What fun!
