TOPIC: Friction Investigation

Team Amin carried out their Topic experiment today to investigate the impact of friction on a cardboard roll moving on different surfaces. Yesterday, we explored how to make sure our test would stay fair and started our scientific write up. After discussing our method today, we tested out four different surfaces - grass, playground, tin foil and our classroom floor, as picked by the children! We definitely saw how certain textured or bumpier surfaces mean that objects cannot move as easily or as far! We even saw how outside circumstances like wind can affect our results too! What super learning!
