Street child
This week, in English, we have really become engrossed in our core text and have begun to produce some lovely writing already...
Having read the first 9 chapters of 'Street Child', we have already begun to learn about the remarkable story of Jim Jarvis. In class, we have been using a variety of sentence and opener devices to help develop and improve our writing. The latest task was to produce a written piece describing Jim's arrival at the workhouse. Attached are a couple of examples of what the children have produced.
