For today's time lesson I would like you to focus on units of time - namely hours and day...

You may want to have a look at the PowerPoint first as it goes through some example questions and then you can have a try at some of the activities. Some key points to remember:

  • 24 hours in a day.
  • 7 days a week.
  • Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November; All the rest have thirty-one, Excepting February alone, And that has twenty-eight days clear, and twenty-nine in each leap year.
  • 365 days in a year (366 in a leap year).
