Sports Day

You know that you are truly set up in your own school when you host your own sports day... Although the last few years have been lovely with Chilton, it was brilliant to finally have our very own. A HUGE well done must go to Mrs Horrigan for organising and setting it all up - it ran like clockwork, and she should be very proud! Typical that we had a bit of rain (someone told me that it was the first time in 40 days!) but it didn't stop us. The children ran with great grit, determination and paced in the morning races - well done to Archie and Lou-Lou for winning, and everyone else who took part. Also, it was fantastic to see everyone trying their hardest in the activities in the afternoon, making sure they earned as many points for their house as they could. Congratulations to House Malone for winning our inaugural event! Finally, if you want a chuckle, in amongst the photos below is a snap of the staff race...
