Bug Club

Bug Club is ready to go... Your child should bring home a reading record and their Bug Club log-in today. Based on the word-reading test last week the children have a book band. As they read, there are questions to answer about the book - these are accessed by clicking on the bug logo on certain pages. If you feel the books are too difficult or too hard please let me know and we will listen to them, discuss a book with them and re-assign if required. There are still paper books for each book band in the corridor outside the classroom if you prefer. The children will be shown how to use the Bug Club system in class on Thursday for those who are unsure.

The reading record is an optional way of recording whole books that have been read - and can also include home or library books.
