As is traditional in our first week of term, we have been exploring our RE unit, titled 'What we know about Jesus'...
The children have learned how many of the images that we associate with Jesus are probably highly inaccurate as there was no written physical description of the man, and the first painting of him occurred 150 years after his death! Lots has been written about his life however, and we looked at some of the stories about him in the gospels. Today we looked at the story of 'Blind Bart' and how Jesus performed the miracle of healing the blind man. The children retold the story in the form of freeze-frames and did so rather well!
