Whilst looking at poetry this term, the focus this week shifted to Kit Wright's 'The Magic Box'...
The children have read it and picked out some of the key features, such as alliteration, similes and the use of some nonsense. We have practised created our own alliteration and similes and planned our own Magic Boxes, selecting various real and imaginary objects to go inside. Next week, we will write our own versions of this classic poem.
