Reading Volunteers

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am writing this blog you because I need your help …

I am looking for volunteer readers to read with our class.

The commitment would be once a week, listening to a few children for 5-10 minutes per child.

Reading is crucial for a child’s development. Michael Morpurgo, a brilliant children’s author, wrote an article in the Sunday Times this week about how reading changes children’s lives and it got me thinking. The children in Team Rees-Boughton need to read more!
