Report writing in English
Inspired by the events in our book Street Child, we have been finding out about, and writing a report on, Dr Thomas Barnardo...
The children developed their note-taking skills to collate information from a range of sources before grouping their ideas and writing them out in cohesive paragraphs. On Friday, the children then edited their writing ready to publish next week for the first time. All of the children have worked hard to focus on the writing basics, whilst also ensuring interesting and varied openers and accurate use of technical and ambitious vocabulary.
