A Visit from Charlie Fudge

Today we had a visit from Charlie Fudge. Charlie is the hamster that lives in year two and goes home with children at the weekend. As we have been learning about the natural world and how to care for animals/plants this week, we learnt all about where hamsters come from (Syria) and how to look after them. We know that we wouldn't just find a hamster in the garden in England as hamsters like the hot country. We looked at Syria on the map and we all had cuddles with Charlie too. We were so brave and he was not scary at all!
