The UK

In our topic lessons this week we have started to learn about the UK. We know there are 4 countries in the UK; England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. This week we made posters about England, we wrote a postcard from Scotland about the beautiful sights and enjoyed eating shortbread biscuits. On Friday we used clay to make a Daffodil (which is the national flower of Wales) or a dragon (which is on the Welsh flag). On Monday we will explore Northern Ireland.
