Sharing and grouping

This week in Reception we have been learning the difference between sharing and grouping. We have been learning how to share into 2,3 and 4 groups and making groups of different sizes. We know that some numbers will not share equally and that it is not fair. We have been so good at sharing objects during our play too. We have also discovered that the more we have in a group, the less groups we have and some of us have even made a connection between sharing into 2 groups and even numbers!
