This week we focussed on the things that plants need to grow and we learnt about plants that we can eat! We had great fun tasting a range of fruits and vegetables and talked about the different parts of plants that we eat - fruits, roots or leaves. We challenged ourselves to try foods we had not tasted before! We learnt that different plants needs different climates to thrive and that is why we cannot grow all fruits and vegetables in the UK - they have to be imported from other countries around the world. We were very good at sorting them into where they came from!
