Next week - BUSY!

As we are about to enter our FINAL EVER full week at RAPS with the year 6 cohort, we need to keep you updated with a hectic week of events...

usicMonday:

The children will be doing rehearsals for the End of year Production. Unfortunately, Miss Mays was off sick last week, so this will be a chance to ensure all the dances are accurately embedded into the performance. All of KS2 will be in the hall doing a couple of run-throughs. Year 6 have been amazing at learning their lines and should be so proud of their efforts! Can ALL children have their costumes in school on Monday please.

Tuesday:

There are two performances on Tuesday to parents: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The tickets that were ordered were handed out on Tuesday this week, so if they have not been given to you, check with your child and then contact the office. The performances begin at 9:30 and 14:30.

Wednesday:

Year 6 are out on a visit to Folkestone Sport centre. There, we will be doing a carousel of activities: Footgolf, Skywalk (like a tree-top challenge) and Snowrings. Children can come into school in their own clothes for this - please wear suitable clothing. To help select the clothing, visit the website to see the activities we are undertaking: https://www.folkestonesportscentre.co.uk/ Children will need to bring a packed lunch for the day - please contact the office if you will require a school packed lunch.

Thursday:

We will be spending the morning at Under 1 Roof on the inflatable obstacles between 9:30 and 11:30 - which should be great fun - before returning to school for lunch. In the afternoon, the children will have a rehearsal for the Leavers Event in the evening. Please see the separate blog post for further details about the Leavers Event.

Friday:

The RAPS festival is taking place between 3 and 6:30. Stalls will be selling their wares between 3 and 5, before live music and entertainment for the final hour and a half. Year 6 have been working hard on their Business Enterprise project and will be selling their products at this fayre, so please come and support them!
