Beautiful work
In our writing this week, the children have been writing an explanation text about the human heart and how it works. This was inspired by our core text 'Pig heart Boy', as it is clear that the main character, Cameron, unfortunately has a failing heart...
After watching an informative clip online and reading some information texts provided, the children had to make notes under sub-headings such as 'what is the heart?' or 'how does the heart work?'.
They then had to write these out before editing and publishing them - finishing them off with a labelled diagram. I hope you agree that the end result looks brilliant!
