Problem Solving

Teamwork was front and centre for this activity, as the children solved numerous tasks and challenges...

Each group had a slightly different routine, but most had the gutter run, where children had to get a ball a long way across a field into a tin without it touching the group. They could only use short sections of guttering so had to relay themselves and their piece of guttering to be successful.

Likewise, most had a go at crossing a 'river' using just the stepping stones, where the entire group had to navigate the river and avoid the crocodiles.

There was also a 'manners gallery' round and the vortex - seeing how quickly the entire team could pass through a bicycle inner tube.

Please ask your child about some of these activities when you see them!
