Shared reading
On Friday, the children went down to a year 1 class to read to them...
Having spoken to the children afterwards, they absolutely loved the experience and we will be making it a regular part of the timetable. It gives the children an audience for their reading, a chance to read new or different books and gain a sense of empowerment by helping some of the younger children in the school with their reading too. Team Beraet were very mature, patient and supportive of the little ones and should feel very proud of themselves!
