Literacy Festival and World Book Day

From tomorrow, the whole of RAPS will be celebrating Literacy with our very own Literacy Festival Week!

Throughout the week, Team Amin will be exploring a text and recreating their very own adventure stories to share with KS1 on Friday. There will also be a series of workshops, including some on storyboarding and storytelling, to encourage and inspire the children. RAPS will also play host to a number of exciting guests as well for the children to meet and work with! 

This Thursday (1st March) is World Book Day and we would love it if the children could come in dressed as a character from a book - please make sure it is from a book and not just fancy dress! If they could also bring in a copy of their favourite book as well, this would be really great as some of our activities will be based around their own choices!
