Trip to Viking Bay!
Beach trip!
The children (and adults) had an absolute blast on Monday! They were the most sensible they have ever been and really impressed us, as well as member of the public! We caught the train from Ramsgate to Broadstairs and walked down to Viking bay. We had fun for a while building sandcastles, burying our friends and playing in the sand. We had a talk from Summer, the local lifeguard, and impressed her with our knowledge of beach safety and the flags. We went down to the sea for a paddle, climbed over the yucky seaweed and maybe went a little deeper than we were meant to... We then came back, ate our lunch on the beach and then headed over to kiddie corner! We had icepoles and then headed back to school. We had the BEST day!
Thank you to all the grown-ups who came and helped us. I feel like a very lucky teacher to have so many helpers! :)
