    Published 17/07/23, by Kiki Amin

Tomorrow is the children's last day in Year 3. They may come in non-school uniform and should have had a letter with something to bring for their class party which is taking place before lunch.

Children can be collected from their classroom at 3pm tomorrow for the school fayre. To leave the school premises, all children will need to have been signed out by their teacher or arts curriculum teacher and receive a pass, even if they have an adult with them. Children who cannot be collected at 3pm will be allowed to go round the fayre and should be collected at normal time.

  • Botany Bay Trip

    Published 03/07/23, by Kiki Amin

On Friday, Year 3 went to Botany Bay! We had so much fun exploring and spotting the features of a coastline that we have been learning about in lessons. We spotted the headland, cliffs, caves, stacks and the bay itself. We retold the story of Joss Snelling and the Excise Men at the Battle of Botany Bay, using drama and collaborating, and even sketched our features whilst sat in the sand! We particularly enjoyed our scavenger hunt , discovering weathered rocks, sea weed and even crabs and fossils! What fun!
