The Beach and The Crab Museum

Last week, Year 4 visited the beach and Crab Museum in Margate. We had a great time exploring the shoreline for evidence of vertebrates and invertebrates. We also managed to consolidate our learning about food chains by finding a plant or animal and thinking about whether it is predator or prey.

We collected samples from the beach and explored them under the microscope at The Crab Museum. It was amazing to see the amount of living things that are underfoot at the beach!
