Staying for lunch!
We really have been playing and interacting so well together, particularly as we've only just met our classmates!
The children were absolutely amazing on their first lunch day, we even started phonics so there were lots of new things to overcome.
For now we are having lunch in our classrooms and once we're very settled we will move into the hall for lunch. At the beginning of the day, with the register, lunch orders are taken - pasta/jacket potato, school main meal or baguette. Then, at lunch time, our dinners are trollied into class so we can sit together and eat!
We also spent a lot of time in the outside area, we all worked together to create a wondrous water channel, with multicoloured water and floating ducks. We've had lots of new garden resources delivered so we've been enjoying exploring those, especially the den building equipment.
