Reading Round Up!

As a class, we certainly have that Friday feeling today, it's seemed like a long week. However, the children have been amazing. I'm so proud of their behaviour and their determination to learn - particularly with phonics. 

Below are the five sounds we've covered this week. Each day we read the sound, say the sound, write the sound and listen to the sound in words. 

Next Friday, 6th,  Mrs Chidwick-Day is hold a reading workshop for parents. This will be held at 2:30pm in the hall. Please come into school via the office. You should have had some information about this already; it'll be an insight into how and why we teach phonics as a tool for reading, and writing!
