Beginnings of Christmas antics

I'm sure you know we have elves visiting Team Welvens, they get up to all sorts overnight. They've so far covered the class in toilet paper, held Fred the Frog hostage, eaten our cereal, been swinging across the ceiling and have been racing in banana cars. The children have really enjoyed coming in and finding out what they've been up to each morning. We've also had a book advent; we unwrap a Christmas/wintery book each day and share the story together. 

We have been learning the Nativity story, we've then retold this in small groups, sequenced the story (pictured) and considered what gifts we would bring Baby Jesus - perhaps something more practical than a lamb or perfume.
