Maths Consolidation

Today we did lots of different maths activities, all in one lesson!

As we have come to the end of our current maths topic, we had a consolidation lesson where we used all of our knowledge. We had great fun completing a variety of different challenges across the two classrooms. We had; drawing around 3D shaped to find the 2D face, tangram shapes, matching numerals and quantities using tens frames, peg board repeating patterns, making different number bonds to 10, number formation, geo boards and numicon pictures.

The children had five minutes at each workstation before moving around to the next. They all showed great behaviour for learning, discussing the task with each other, engaging well with the given challenge. I was really proud to see how well they just got to the tasks at hand.
