Forest school week 1

Our first session at Forest School was so much fun! It was even snowing a little bit. We learnt about the Forest School rules which are there to keep us safe and to make sure we have lots of fun! 

We practised coming back to our 'base' when Mrs Barnes made our Forest School sound. Can you remember what the sound was? 

Then we used 'hazard signs' to identify areas of the woodland that could pose a risk. This helped us to have a good awareness of things like stumps on the ground, low branches, holly, thorns and uneven ground. 

We then enjoyed playing in the woods with our friends. We found some creatures hiding under a log stump, can you remember what we found?
