Recapping part-whole

Maths today!

Today we looked back at part-whole and how we can use this to create number sentences. We used part-wholes with pictural numicon and used real numicon to remind us of the method of moving the parts to create the whole. We then refamiliarised ourselves with numicon by then looking for the correct numicon manipulative to represent our whole number. We also were able to write the number sentences we were representing, with some of us challenging ourselves to write the face families of that number sentence.
