An Eggcellent Start to Year 5
This we the children took part in an egg drop challenge!
This week as a challenge to kick-start year 5, we had to protect our egg as it was dropped from a great height! We worked in groups and had "£100" to spend on buying materials to create a contraption. Most of the eggs did break however, there were 3 groups who managed to prevent them cracking! We discovered that a large surface area combined with good padding gave the best result.
Shout out to Freddie, Esme & Ryder who worked together so creatively and displayed the best logic and collaboration when protecting their egg.
