Love2Learn tasks
This week, the latest weekly spellings have been set, as well as a short written task...
The spelling words for this week are all linked to the spelling rule the children have been exploring in class all week - suffixes when the root word does not change. A sheet was sent home in the Love2Learn books (for those handed in) and a spare copy is attached below.
In addition, we have asked the children to write a short speech for one (or more) of the roles of responsibility available to year 6. We would like the pupils to think about whether they would like to be a member of the JLT (Junior Leadership Team), a House Captain or an Eco-Warrior.
Unlike most normal Love2Learn tasks, this is due in on WEDNESDAY 20th September, as we need to have our vote and inform Mr Holliday of our choices.
Children do not have to share their speech and take on one of these roles; however we will expect all children to write a short speech about why they would make a good candidate!
