Helping our community

After a short walk into the centre of town, the Mayor and her team provided the children with litter pickers and bin bags. From there, we cleared the two car parks at Cavendish Street and Meeting Street, before working down the High Street.

All the children were extremely diligent in their efforts and (sadly) managed to collect lots of rubbish off the streets. The mayor was most impressed with their efforts, and it was lovely that many members of the public took time to thank the children for their efforts as they passed.
