Awesome art
To begin our new topic, 'Light and Power', the children were tasked with drawing a human eye in detail...
The initial focus of the topic is on the 'light' element and, in particular, the eye and how we see. The children were asked to draw an eye without any input and then levelled it against some examples on the board. We then watched a tutorial on how to capture the detail in drawing a more realistic eye. The children did a fabulous job. Attached is a picture that shows just a couple of the improvements shown on the day.
On the following day, they used these skills to recreate their eye picture before adding watercolours to create a striking effect!
