Christmas Unwrapped
This afternoon, Year 6 headed a couple of minutes down the road to the Corner, where we had a Christmas Unwrapped experience...
It began with the children sharing some of their favourite things about Christmas - from songs and films to presents, before doing some 'myth-busting' about the Christmas story - for example, did you know that there is no mention of a donkey at all in the Bible?
After pausing for the children to have a go at making a mince pie each, the children then learned about the 'real' story - without the extra 'fluff' that has been added over the year.
To cap the afternoon off, the children joined in a Christmas rap! Overall, it was an interactive and fun look at this important time of the year.
