Reading with Year 5...

Today, Year 5 were unfortunately unable to go on their planned library trip. Instead, they joined us in Reception for a special shared reading session.

The Year 5 children were incredibly well behaved and showed such care and patience as they listened to stories being read. It was lovely to see them being such positive role models for our younger children.

We also had some siblings reading together, which was especially sweet and made the session even more special. It was a calm, happy way to enjoy books together and a great example of how much our children value reading across the school.

A big thank you to Year 5 for being such wonderful reading buddies.
