Emergency Services and Road Safety Visits Team Piper

This week has been very exciting in Reception! Yesterday, we were visited by the fire brigade who came in to talk to the children all about fire safety. The children loved meeting real firefighters, learning about their important job and finding out how to stay safe at home and at school.

Today, we welcomed the road safety team who taught us how to stay safe near roads. We talked about crossing safely, holding an adult’s hand and being aware of traffic. The children listened carefully and joined in brilliantly.

We have loved learning from our visitors and are so proud of how sensible and engaged the children were. What a great two days of real life learning.
