Welly Throw Maths Fun!​​​​​​​

Today we had so much fun exploring length with a welly throwing challenge! The children took turns throwing wellies from the same start line and used brilliant maths words like long, short, further, shorter and furthest to compare whose welly travelled the longest distance. There were lots of excited predictions, cheering and fantastic explaining as the children told us how they knew which throw went the furthest. Team Piper showed amazing mathematical thinking while having lots of laughs!
