Community Gardens Trip...

What a fantastic adventure our children had on their visit to the Community Gardens in Margate! From the moment they climbed onto the mini bus, excitement filled the air. The day was packed with muddy hands, curious minds, and plenty of outdoor discoveries.

After arriving, the children planted their very own sunflower seeds, carefully tucking them into the soil and learning how plants grow. With a bit of sunshine and care, they’re hoping their sunflowers will grow tall and bright! 🌻

Next, the group enjoyed a guided tour of the gardens, exploring all the amazing areas. They stepped inside to admire the beautiful orchids, wandered through the forest area, and discovered how different plants grow in different spaces.

One of the most exciting moments was getting to taste fresh salad leaves straight from the plants. Crunchy, fresh, and picked by their own hands — it doesn’t get much fresher than that! 🥬

Of course, no garden trip would be complete without a bit of messy fun. The children loved playing in the mud kitchen, mixing, pouring, and creating their own muddy masterpieces.

It was an hour full of learning, laughter, and outdoor adventure, and the children returned with big smiles, muddy hands, and lots of stories to tell. What a wonderful trip! 🌱✨
