Art to Start: Dinosaur Sunset Silhouettes...

Thank you so much to all the parents and grown ups who came in to support our Art to Start session. It was such a special time for the children to create alongside you and share their learning.

Each term, we begin our new topic with Art to Start. This gives the children a creative way into their learning and helps spark curiosity, talk and excitement about what is to come.

The arts are so important to us as a school because they give children the chance to express themselves, explore new ideas, develop confidence and celebrate their creativity. Today, the children used a colour wash technique to create sunset backgrounds before adding their dinosaur silhouettes. A wonderful start to our new topic!
