Botany Bay trip info

Thank you so much to all the adult volunteers. We are pleased to announce we are able to go ahead with the trip due to your support. 

Volunteers are to meet us at the top of the slip at Botany Bay beach at 10:00am, where the children will be dropped off in minibuses.

Children will then be taken back to school by minibus around 1:30pm. However, if you are with us as a parent volunteer for the day, you are welcome to take your child home after that. We ask that you let us know either in advance or on the day before you leave.

Children can dress in PE kit with crocs, sandals or open-toed beach shoes.

If they are a free school meal, we will provide a packed lunch. Everybody else should bring their packed lunch,

Children should also have sun cream, towels, water bottles and a light jacket in case of sudden weather changes.

This is a learning trip, but there will be a small amount of time after lunch for leisure. This does NOT involve going in the sea, but children can bring a bucket, spade and a small ball. 

We are really looking forward to this trip and greatly appreciate all the support and cooperation.
