Word Detectives - Team Hayzelden

This week we have began reading our new book, The Iron Man, by Ted Hughes. We have read chapters 1 and 2, before scanning back through the text to find new words. We then used the dictionaries to practice finding these words and talking about their definitions. 

We now know that words in the dictionary are organised in alphabetical order, and learnt tricks to help us find words quickly.
