The Green Ship - Team Hayzelden's Version
Today we used our acting skills to retell the story of The Green Ship - with a twist!
In preparation to write our own alternative narratives based on the Green Ship, we went outside and acted out different parts of our story, including an introduction, build up, problem and resolution.
We used facial expressions and our voices to retell the story outside, before coming back together to retell the story verbally to our friends.
We were so impressed with Year 3s work today, we can't wait to see the writing that they produce from this over the rest of the term!
