BREAKING NEWS - Team Hayzelden become journalists!

In this very exciting workshop, we talked about where we get news from and looked at the names of different newspapers to see which we recognised. Andy and Zita told us all about journalism and how to write a great (and factual) news report, before we began to write our own. As a team, we had to come up with open questions to ask key witnesses, before interviewing them and incorporating their information in our news reports. We then used all the information we had gathered to write our own short news reports, focussing on using the 5Ws:
