Art to Start Term 5 - Team Hayzelden

Today we learnt about Beatriz Milhazes, a contemporary artist from Rio de Janeiro. Her work is inspired by the colours and shapes in nature, and she is best known for creating large, brightly-coloured prints, paintings and collages. 

Inspired by her work, we tried to recreate her style by using oil pastels and collaging to create our own abstract designs of flowers and plants, using different shapes and objects to draw around.
