World Book Day

Today, Team O had an amazing time celebrating reading! Throughout the day, the children took part in lots of fun, book-themed activities - some of our children even joined an amazing dance workshop with Ms Prince and author Em Cosh. One of the highlights was our assembly where we heard an exclusive reading of Em Cosh's new book 'The Magic Scarf'. In class we played some character games, including a hot air balloon game where we had to decide which characters stayed and which went! 

It was so wonderful to hear children talking excitedly about books and to dress up or down! Ms O particularly enjoyed being in her pjs! Thank you to all the parents for joining in the spirit of the day and going 'all in' with reading!
