Glorious Food!

Today, we prepared a colourful, nutrient-rich salad together. The children practised simple food preparation skills, carefully washing, chopping, and mixing fresh ingredients while learning how different foods help our bodies grow strong and healthy. As we worked, we talked about other foods we enjoy and explored how to make balanced choices that give our bodies the nutrients they need to feel energised and well, as well as what can happen when we don’t give our bodies enough of the right foods and why variety matters.
