Exxcellent Stixx!
Today we spent the day creating and working with Stixx!
We used a rolling machine to create incredibly sturdy stixx, made of compressed newspaper.
We then used hack saws (to get the stixx to the desired length) and cable ties to assemble the stixx in a way that created some form of structure – Team Godwin made chairs, stools, a bench, a table and even a fishing rod!
Once finished, we tested their creations, with one group successfully creating a chair that was able to sustain Ollie's weight!
