Over the last couple of weeks, the children have been writing stories based on evacuation...
Inspired by the core text, 'Goodnight Mister Tom', our topic learning and the opening scenes from 'The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe', the children planned, wrote, edited and then published their own tales about a young child embarking on the journey of an evacuee. Additionally, the children made small books and designed their own front cover.
