Blean Woods Trip

Today, we spoke to the children to give them a 'heads-up' about some of the key elements of the trip.

Firstly, we will be gone for lunch, so children will be needing a packed lunch (school packed lunches will be provided if required).

Secondly, it has been raining recently and, based on previous trips, it can get quite muddy in places. Obviously, there will be quite a lot of walking too, so please ensure the children have suitable footwear. We have asked that children bring a different pair of shoes to put on when we return to school, to avoid walking mud into the building. There is currently a 24% chance of further rain, so please send your child in with a coat!

Finally, we have informed the children that there are no toilet facilities at the woods, so children will be encouraged to go before we leave and drink sparingly until we get back.
