Reminders about the upcoming library trip!
Last Wednesday, some of our KS2 children were treated to an amazing visit from author Emma Swan, who shared her amazing interactive mystery series 'The Cruise Ship Kid'. She delighted the children with tales of her own childhood growing up on a ship and shared how she creates and develops ideas. Her talk was even hilariously interrupted by her main character Silva! Thanks to Happy Reading in Broadstairs, we have a limited number of Emma Swan's first book 'Cruise Ship Kid: Thief at Sea' as well as her latest book 'Cruise Ship Kid: Kidnap at Sea' for sale.
In order to put on these exciting events with popular authors, publishers ask us to buy a quota of books - by buying this book for your child, you are helping us be able to invite other exciting authors to school in the future! These can be ordered at a discounted rate of £6.40 through MCAS store.
Today we used our acting skills to retell the story of The Green Ship - with a twist!
